In the Spring of 2014, The Spar Shed will be reborn as The Little River Boat Club (LRBC). Respecting previous traditions of catering to Maine's coastal and ocean loving community, LRBC will also have renewed facilities and updated style to create a fresh and special mini-resort on Maines Down East coast.

Recently purchased by The Miller family, native Californians who also share a 40+ year history on the Maine Coast the LRBC will enjoy the best of both worlds combining environmentally sustainable practices and advanced technology with Down East peace, beauty and humility.

 

The 1.5 acre site features azaleas galore with 180-degree north, east and south views. Accomodations are perfect for larger family groups, modest size business teams or collections of friends that seek community as well as independence.   The seven bedrooms can accommodate 11 or 12 people and are spread among three buildings, each with kitchen and restrooms.   Two of the residences are over the water.  Views are everywhere.  

 

The Marina has both deep water moorings as well as dock-side berths with water and power.   Most Marina services are offered on a seasonal basis as well as to LRBC guests during their land-side stays.
